Hallo liebe Leser,
vor ungefähr 2 Stunden habe ich mich erstmalig in Second Life angemeldet. Ich bin darauf gekommen durch eine Bildungsexpedition, die ich vor zwei Wochen mit Dr. Christian Spanngel (Juniorprofessor an der PH Ludwigsburg), Lutz Berger und einigen anderen Teilnehmern unternommen habe. Es war die Bildungsexpedition Deutschland 2009 http://bildungsexpedition.de/. Dort haben wir uns mit verschiedenen Menschen unterhalten, die Second Life in der Lehre einsetzten. Das hat mich so interessiert, dass ich mich heute auch dazu entschlossen habe, mich bei Second Life anzumelden. Da die Anmeldung kostenlos ist, stand der Aktion nichts im Wege. In Second Life angekommen habe ich mich erst mal mit den Möglichkeiten auseinandergefasst. Ich wusste not much, but I knew how messages (messages) typing in a window, so I'm just losgefragt. I came across some 'new' users, who just as little as I knew, but soon a few experts and mentors. Mentors in Second Life are like the tutors in Moodle, they help you when you lead no further, or have specific questions. What I noticed mainly is that the lingua franca, ie the language with which to chat all English. I have met people from Alabama and from California, and a Spaniard and an Italian. But all spoke fluent English. Because, of course, offers a great way for the medium and English-teaching. But for that I need only my own knowledge of SL even more schools to also know which areas I should be staying with my students the best and least.
So far so good, now back to the subject matter for my educational science test tomorrow.
